Bad Girl Creek by Jo-Ann Mapson

THE BEST book on women helping other women. The book was funny, insightful, interesting, and just plan good. Mapson followed up this book with two others books with the same characters and was just as good as the first book. There is a fourth book that is a spin off of one of the characters in Bad Girl Creek. This book inspired me to help others with their difficult situations, it changed my life. It is a fiction book but was so true to real life situations. The main character is in a wheel chair but that does not stop her from starting a flower farm in California. One of the other main characters is a women with HIV and came to the farm broke with no job and a horse. Another character living at the farm was a closet anorexigenic with a business degree. And the last character had "accidently" stabbed her ex-husband and had no where to go after being released from prison. Four different women with four different backgrounds living under the same roof with as many pets. GREAT READ
